Plate of Origin 2017
Plate of Origin 2017

Plate of Origin 2017 is an annual competition showcasing the best food from across New Zealand.
Hosted in Manawatu, ten local restaurants have partnered up with ten of the best restaurants from around the country to collaborate on one main dish.
Each partnership will produce a plate that highlights two key ingredients, representing the partner restaurant’s region.
Try a Plate of Origin dish at any participating restaurant between Tuesday 14th March and Saturday 18th March 2017, and go in the draw to win a Visa Wellington On a Plate Experience for two! Prize includes two nights’ accommodation, meals and Festival Event tickets.
The Plate of Origin will be available in all participating Manawatu restaurants for dinner throughout the New Zealand Agri Investment Week. Opening hours vary between restaurants and we recommend making bookings early at your restaurant of choice. Each dish will be priced accordingly though will fall within $35-$42.
Plate of Origin is run in association with Cuisine Magazine and Visa Wellington On a Plate and proudly supported by Chef's Choice.
