Tena koutou katoa - my names Nate.D and I host Drop It Like Its Hot here at Kia Ora FM 89.8. I also assist in the creation and production side of things here at the station working alongside the other Radio Announcers to help keep you informed of things pertaining to Te Reo Maori me Ona Tikanga in the Rangitaane area.

My musical influences growing up were very broad and electic but as I grew up I have found I have a liking for more of today's music (RnB, Soul, Hip Hop, Rap and of course anything that's 100% Aotearoa homegrown)

Some of my favourite New Zealand artists at the moment (including local or upcoming artists) would have to be: Tiki Taane, DJ Sir - Vere, House Of Shem, Nesian Mystik, Native Quest, Ladi 6, J Williams, Roots Provider, Ngatoto, Maori Boi ENT, Deceptikonz, Holly Smith, The Black Seeds, Flow On Show, Soul Savivaz, Tyna & JB and many many more (the list could go on forever)

I also produce, create, write and perform my own music and work alongside some of Palmerston North's and Whanganui's rising young musical talents.
